Dual Enrollment

Dual Enrollment classes are college classes, taken in high school, through Miami-Dade College, that count for college credit. This allows students to advance through their post-secondary education while completing their high school education.

Requirements

In order to take Dual Enrollment classes during the summer of 2025, the following requirements must be met:

• The student must be a current 8th-11th grader at Miami Arts Charter School.
• The student must be remaining at MAC during the 25-26 school year.
• The student must have a 3.0 unweighted GPA.
• The student must have taken and passed at least two high school courses
• The student must have taken or will take a college placement exam and achieve(d) a required score.
• The student must take Dual Enrollment classes during the summer, after the school year has ended in June, with my own transportation arrangements or online.

A Dual Enrollment Interest Form must be filled out and turned in to Ms. Torres. The deadline for this form has passed at this time.
